There once lived a pirate named Gol D. Roger. He obtained wealth, fame, and power to earn the title of Pirate King. When he was captured and about to be executed, he revealed that his treasure called One Piece was hidden somewhere at the Grand Line. This made all people set out to search and uncover the One Piece treasure, but no one ever found the location of Gol D. Roger's treasure, and the Grand Line was too dangerous a place to overcome. Twenty-two years after Gol D. Roger's death, a boy named Monkey D. Luffy decided to become a pirate and search for Gol D. Roger's treasure to become the next Pirate King. Follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy and his friends in order to find the greatest treasure ever left by the legendary Pirate, Gol D Roger. The famous mystery treasure named "One Piece". It is undoubtedly one the best anime i have ever seen.We got comedy,action,drama,adventure etc in this its fun to watch and is really interesting. The characters are all really awesome.Few parts are really emotional one can get attached to the show really fast. LOVE THE SHOW TO THE CORE. #MUSTWATCH :D . I don't really get why people gave poor remarks to this show but well efforts have to be put . the show is really long but there is not even a single episode u will fell bored the excitement just keeps on building as the show continues.Comedy is epic. One can just not forget how funny the characters are and how bold they get when the situation ask them to.I would say go for it u must take your time will watching it but i got addicted and completed watching all 715 episodes in just 38- 40 days and just can wait to know what happens next.This is awesome stuff even single episode can make your day. :P For years i avoided this anime because of the 4kids version, but i was always interested in seeing what it was like to watch in japs with subtitles because it was currently considered one of the best animes out there, and from episode 1 to episode 330 i was captivated.<br/><br/>I rediscovered this masterpiece and the extent of 4kids damage washed away in time.<br/><br/>from that moment on i couldn't stop watching, this show is incredible and incredibly moving, i've lost count of the times i've broken into tears watching them leave old friends, reunite current ones, burn their ship.<br/><br/>And i always figured this show would be funny and i was severely disappointed to find that it's not, not funny in the slightest, it's throatrippingly hilarious, especially the scene where Ussop and Carue run for their lives from Miss Wednesday and Mr 4 (i think?) that today is still my favorite scene. episode 126 i think it was.<br/><br/>If you want to become a fan then please avoid the 4kids version at all costs, if you still want to see an English one, watch the funimation version
